Our History

Rod Madden, the President and Founder of RJ Madden, Inc., received his real estate license in 1972. The following year he constructed a warehouse building for a local grocer.

After completing numerous small and medium sized projects, he joined a larger firm specializing in constructing public facilities. As vice president of the firm, Rod was directly responsible for managing the construction of over $100,000,000 of projects including schools, fire stations, community centers, and other public facilities.

In June of 1987, Rod founded his business in Austin, Texas and began developing and constructing a variety of projects including single family subdivisions, mixed-use projects, office buildings, churches and condominiums.

The current name, RJ Madden, was adopted in December of 2004 and the business was incorporated as RJ Madden, Inc. in February of 2007.
